Joel Torelli

Joel plays an important role in our corporate and commercial team, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions and commercial advisory. He works closely with business owners, companies and investors to understand their objectives and provide practical, commercially focused legal advice.

Joel has experience advising on a broad range of business acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, corporate restructures and complex commercial arrangements. He has particular experience across the education and training, property and development, and franchising sectors, including transactions involving bespoke funding arrangements, multi-entity structures, regulatory considerations and complex completion processes.

Joel takes a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to his work, with an emphasis on understanding the commercial drivers behind a matter and providing clear, efficient and tailored advice. Joel was admitted to legal practice by the Supreme Court of Victoria in February 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction.
